Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking Intake -Admissions Counselor to join our growing team! Come make a difference in the life of a child and love what you do!!

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 90-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students.

This position involves working with a team of Intake/Admission professionals to clinically assess potential patients; responding to inquiry calls, referrals, following processes in reviewing referrals, completing clinical assessments for mental health criteria requiring admission to residential treatment, working with physicians through to possible admissions.

The Intake/Admissions Counselor is the initial contact with potential patients and referral sources, coordinates the referral and intake process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, and patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
