Instructional Designer - SAAS (Remote)

We are looking for an Instructional Designer for a global B2B high-tech company. We are seeking a candidate with a strong instructional design background and skills to design, develop, and update training materials using various tools and strategies. The team is responsible for providing enablement training for our salesforce and partners, so knowledge of sales and sales methodologies is highly desirable.

This is a 3-month contract (extensions likely), 40 hours/week role. This is a remote role in the US.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

Use instructional design expertise to analyze, design, and develop effective and engaging instructional materials that meet audience needs. Work with stakeholders and SMEs to understand, define, and capture their training requirements and propose appropriate learning strategies that successfully address the needs of the target audience and involve suitable training delivery modalities. Create high-level design (HLD) for each project request. Develop training and enablement content for field representatives, partners, and/or customers (including but not limited to instructor-led presentations, sales assets, and e-Learning courses) using sound writing, communication, and instructional design principles and strategies. Design simulations, job aids, assessment questions, etc. to support courseware. Conduct design and content reviews effectively and promptly. Work with vendor resources to produce and deliver all projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Attain intermediate knowledge of networking, storage, client/server applications, end-user computing tools, cloud offerings, etc. Work cross-functionally and develop a trusting partnership with stakeholders, SMEs, and other cross-functional teams in the enablement organization. Actively collaborate with members of the content team and contribute to internal discussions and internal projects involving process documentation, process improvement, team engagement, metrics analysis and collection, innovative thinking, etc. Perform peer review of training content and provide constructive feedback. Regularly report the status of projects

Requirements:

8+ years of experience with instructional design/development of sales, and technical courses in a High-tech Environment. Expert-level proficiency in major eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Captivate) is mandatory. Intermediate-level proficiency in video and animation creation/editing tools ( Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, Video Scribe, Vyond) and graphic design software ( Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects) highly desirable Deep knowledge of virtual training/meeting applications (Zoom, MS Teams) and supporting tools/apps (such as Poll Everywhere, Menti, Kahoot) required. Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems, such as SABA required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory; a graduate-level instructional degree is preferred.

Compensation: $54/hr - $60/hr
