Rockland Trust is currently seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to join the Retail Learning & Development team. Under the guidance of the Director of Retail Learning & Development, this individual will design and create training content, as well as be a project lead for new systems and updates for our Branch and Call Center staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Learning & Development content creation and its role in the workplace as well as, the ability to create training for employees that is robust, clear, and engaging.

• Creation of training content for Rockland Trust Retail Branch and Call Center staff including, but not limited to:
  • Operations policy and procedure
  • Call center policy and procedures
  • Customer service standards and sales philosophy
• Design, develop, and enhance visually appealing, engaging, and effective learning materials
• Create content for Retail L&D SharePoint site
• Make recommendations to the Training Managers regarding updates and new ideas to classroom training content
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts in the development of content creation and course development
• Contribute to projects and initiatives which support both the bank and department goals
• Keep content development skills honed by self-initiated learning through webinars, reading, attending classes/conferences, and following industry updates/trends
• Assist the Retail Learning & Development team with administrative tasks and projects as needed

• Ideal candidate will possess strong content creation experience
• Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with digital content creation and LMS tools such as Articulate 360, Easy Generator, Oracle Learn, Camtasia, digital simulation tools
• Project Management experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates a focused, organized, systematic approach to accomplishing tasks and goals
• Experience managing multiple, high-priority projects with firm deadlines
• Sound computer and technology skills; including Microsoft Office Suite and workplace video conferencing software
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal team members and project teams
• Initiative to accomplish ones goals independently
• Ability to travel to multiple training locations throughout the Rockland Trust footprint
