Title: Instructional Assistant PT (3.75 hours per day)
Placement (location): Shady Cove
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 171 days per year to begin ASAP
Salary Range: $16.06 per hour
Closing Date: Open until filled with screening to begin immediately

Description:
This is a (3.75 hr/day) Instructional Assistant position. The position is at Shady Cove School and is located in Shady Cove, Oregon next to the beautiful Rogue River. We are a small K-8 school with an upper and lower campus. This is a Title I funded position, where the selected candidate will be providing support for students in the areas of ELA and Math.

General Expectations:
The ideal applicant will demonstrate a knowledge of working with and supervising students K-8th grade using positive behavior supports. The applicant will be willing to learn best practices for working with our students, both in the classroom and during non structured times. We are looking for someone that builds positive relationships with staff, students and the community. In addition, the ideal applicant will demonstrate a passion for helping all students reach their academic growth goals, work collaboratively as a team and desire to grow and develop professionally.
