A small, tight-knit childcare facility located in the heart of The Fan is looking to add a part-time teacher to our amazing team! The teacher would be responsible for helping out in multiple rooms on a consistent basis. We promote learning through student-directed discovery, the creative arts, music, and sunshine; and focus on correcting behavior through positive guidance. We are currently opened Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

We are looking for teachers able to work Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-1:30 PM or 1:30-6:00 PM.

The Ideal Candidate would be able to work a morning or afternoon shift 3-5 days a week.

Applicants must be:
We are searching for applicants who are dependable, loving, energetic, and have a passion for working with young children! Previous childcare experience is preferred.

Duties:

• Work with a lead staff member to create and implement lesson plans that help foster student-directed discovery and help maintain a fun, safe, and structured learning environment.
• Help lead staff create a classroom environment that is safe, healthy, and nurturing and goes along with the philosophy and goals of our program.
• Help and support children socially and emotionally through positive guidance.
• Ensure children maintain healthy habits when eating, washing their hands, using the toilets, or diapering.
• Build positive relationships with families.
• Act as a team player as you work closely with fellow staff members.
• Abide by Covid-19 cleaning procedures to ensure staff and students remain safe.
• Hours are roughly Monday-Friday, 8:00-10:00 AM or 3:15-6:00 PM.
