Inside Sales/Account Manager
Job description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Inside Sales/Account Manager to join their team. As an Inside Sales/Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business leads and managing existing client accounts. You will work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and offer client’s solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct lead generation activities through cold-calling, email, and internet research.
- Identify client needs and propose solutions as appropriate.
- Conduct persistent follow-up with prospects and proposals to close sales.
- Track accounts, contacts, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM solution.
- Communicate progress and status to management on a regular basis.
- Train newly hired account managers on company processes and procedures.
- Occasionally travel to client sites for corporate presentations.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
- 2-3 Years of prior sales-related experience.
- Prior inside B2B sales experience preferred.
- Experience with cold calling and lead tracking & management.
- Strong internet research skills to identify leads.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record of opening doors, identifying needs, and scheduling follow-up calls to close opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be motivated, adaptable, and resilient with a strong results-oriented work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of customers.
