Anko Products is currently looking to hire an Injection Molding Lead
Job Description:
- Manufactures products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring workflow. Ensuring the timely and efficient flow of quality products through the molding department, training molding personnel on safe and effective molding machine operation. Ensuring employees understand and follow Manufacturing Standards and Procedures during production. Supervises and has full responsibility for the process, production, and quality of manufactured products. Ensures schedule goals are met.
- Performs technical functions related to troubleshooting, mold preventative maintenance, and establishment of injection molded parts processes. Resolves problems and makes recommendations for improvements or needs to the department manager.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting machine-related problems providing technical guidance and taking the appropriate corrective measures to minimize downtime and interruption of production schedules.
- Inspects, adjusts, calibrates, and/or tests equipment, molds, devices, and/or systems.
- Visually inspect the injection molding machine accessories: chillers, thermometers, dryers, and granulators to assess working conditions.
- Applies analytical and interpretive capabilities displaying a good knowledge and practical understanding of the injection molding machine system’s technical level, with comprehensive knowledge of the process and plastic resins.
- May perform minor repairs and adjustments to injection mold machines.
- Interfaces with Manager regarding technical and repair issues.
- Makes recommendations to Manager on improving company products, processes, and/or productivity techniques.
- Provides guidance, training, and direction to the machine operators.
- Reviews projection reports daily to assess problem areas and takes corrective actions to resolve problems.
- Performs quality control tasks including visual inspection of parts.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organization are required.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
- Will stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Work Environment: Medium level noise, Mechanical Hazards, Moving Objects
- Follows all Occupational Safety and Health Policies and Procedures. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
- Follows Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
- Understands and complies with all Departmental Quality Policies and Procedures.
Required experience:
Technical Processing: 2 years.
