Under general direction of IT Manager, the Infrastructure Architect is responsible for leading the staff and operations of the IT infrastructure including network equipment, servers, and other IT hardware. This position involves identifying, developing, and implementing appropriate infrastructure and services to meet the company’s current and emerging IT needs, including innovative information technologies that enhance the current network architecture and production operations.

A. Responsibilities

1. Work collaboratively with leadership and representatives from various departments across the company to meet their requirements either by providing solutions align with current infrastructure or provide cost saving solutions that can replace existing solutions.

2. Responsible for operation and maintenance of all computing equipment throughout the company, including the ordering and installation of new equipment and its related software, and the resolution of problems related to hardware and its software.

3. Ensure appropriate computing infrastructure and desktop support for the company, on time hardware maintenance; understanding software and databases related to hardware, and audio-visual support for hybrid work (on-site, as well as remote formats).

4. Ensure that the company’s IT standards and platforms are compliant and consistent with those established by the company, to ensure zero data loss via back up mechanisms, efficiency of resource utilization, and security of systems and data.

5. Participate in company-wide projects on matters concerning information systems and technology. Initiate, manage, prioritize, and ensure completion of IT initiative projects within schedule and budget.

6. Develop and implement standards, procedures, and processes for IT operations.

7. Monitor and understand Cisco Meraki devices and take appropriate actions when alerts are received from Meraki. Ensure Firewall rules are defined accordingly to protect the company devices and equipment.

8. Manage vSphere and setup new VM whenever it is required by business and its physical hosts. Perform periodic maintenance on these physical hosts and ensure they are compliant with network standards.

9. Manage VMs and critical workstations’ backups via Veeam and Cloudberry, monthly windows and servers patching.

10. Manage disaster recovery sites and ensure backups of critical systems are available at any time and perform DR testing bi-annually.

11. Recommend and procure hardware and storage space for operating systems, software, and network requirements.

12. Support validation, deployment, optimization and operations of network nodes, Develop value-added solutions that meet company needs and share key learnings with others.

13. Maintain an EMC CX SAN environment and automate administrative tasks through scripting in a Windows, Linux, RDP, and EMC CX SAN environment.

14. Perform diagnostic analysis of the network system, identify possible faulty devices, troubleshoot faulty modules, troubleshoot network problems and outages and prepare necessary documentation detailing actions taken.

15. Provide 24x7/365 availability in circumstances of outage.

16. Meet all company work schedule and attendance expectations and perform within the physical and environmental demands of the job, as described in Section E: Working Conditions.

B. Additional Job Responsibilities

1. Actively participate in new and escalated user desktop support functions.

2. Perform all defined responsibilities in the support of local and remote offices.

3. Provide IT operations process improvement recommendations and implementation.

4. Troubleshoot and solve common network issues.

5. Troubleshoot and solve all data center related issues.

C. Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or more, training, and experience

2. 10+ years of experience in an information technology with management experience.

3. Experience with Cisco VPN, Cisco Meraki switches, routers and firewall.

4. Experience with managing vSphere and understand its architecture, vCenter and VMware and its upgrade.

5. Experience with SIP, IPSEC, DCHP.

6. Experience with MS Teams Phones and Genesys Call Center

7. Experience with MS Windows server 2019, MS Azure cloud, RDP environment and Linux.

8. Fluency in writing protocols and access control lists.

9. Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

10. Comfortable with arrangements and decision making.

11. Can prioritize tasks and projects with confidence.

12. Demonstrated negotiation skills.

D. Additional Preferred Qualifications

1. Microsoft MCSA / MCSE certification or other equivalent certifications from Cisco.

2. Exposure to Oracle database and Oracle Applications

3. Knowledge of .net and Office VBA and tool set creation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $94,900.00 - $142,400.00 per year

Schedule:
