Premier Care Center is a Skilled Nursing facility with incredible culture and a tenured, experienced team! We are looking for a motivated IP to join our team in Palm Springs, CA.
Requirements:
- Must possess a current active license to practice as an LVN in California.
- 2 years or more experience as an LVN in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- IP Certification
- Current CPR certification.
Job Description:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct the infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern such requirements in the long-term care facility.
- Ensure that all personnel follow established procedures for the disposal and removal of infective and contaminated materials from the facility.
- Make rounds to nursing units for the purpose of case findings, review of environmental sanitation procedures, and supervision of isolation precautions/practices.
