Job description
We are non-profit NAEYC Accredited center located on the VA Hospital grounds. Our small class sizes and excellent teacher/student ratio are highlights for both parents and staff that leads to lasting relationships. Many of our staff members have been with us over 9 years.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS~ Bachelor's Degree in Early Child Childhood Education and experience in a NAEYC accredited center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Planning, supervision, and implementing curriculum for classroom in accordance with policies and philosophy of the center. Responsible for completing and posting current lesson plans.
*Gearing the program to the needs of the individual child with concern for his/her interests, handicaps, special talents and individual style and pace of learning.
*Working with co teachers to ensure a smooth coordination of all classroom activities and relationship between staff and children.
*Engage in regular, respectful and sensitive communication with parents, including daily updates and conferences.
*Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures required by DHS, NAEYC, OSHA, USDA and other governing bodies
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
