Pac-Rim Building Supply, Inc. is a fast-paced, growing provider of residential and commercial building materials to contractors in Alaska, Hawaii, and Japan. Additionally, we operate a transload facility where we load/unload import and export materials through the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma. We are excited to be adding a new Warehouse/Forklift Associate to our team!

Here are some of the details:

• Fulltime position in located in Renton, WA
• Primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00a to 3:30p (OT may be required at times)

What would you do?

• Load and unload shipments, stage and store materials using forklifts, hand trucks and by hand as needed.
• Use handheld power tools to build shipping crates including panel & chop saws, air compressors and screw guns.
• Ship and Receive customer materials
• Input receiving into computer database
• Send and receive emails to vendors as needed to resolve or expedite materials
• Interface with customers and vendors, including truck drivers in a friendly and helpful manner.

What you need to be successful?

• 5+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• 2+ Previous forklift experience is required (we provide certification if needed).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Be consistently on time.
• Be a team player.
• Be interested in learning not just the how to do the job, but WHY we do the job the way we do.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
