Job Title: HR Coordinator
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite, preferably Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Job Details:

  • Coordinates and has direct responsibility for a program, project, event, or program. Creates and implements administrative systems to manage areas of responsibility.
  • Serves as main source of information, effectively responding to inquiries from potential customers, participants, academic collaborators.
  • Prepares and maintains records, reports, budget, and plans. May maintain a web page, website, or program material.
  • Requires 2 to 3 years of related experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction. Able to plan, prioritize, and track work. Basic or better proficiency in common office software.\
  • Support HR team with day-to-day transactions. (I-9, data changes, payroll)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative responsibilities, which include scheduling meetings, creating, and maintaining (paper and digital files), creating letters, tracking information and reconcile expenses.
  • Collect and process paperwork for new hires and exiting employees.
  • Coordinates with CADM Payroll on new hire paperwork, obtaining the Client ID numbers, status changes with existing employees and the termination of exiting employees.
  • Problem solver for employee questions.
  • Coordinate the hiring process for all contingent workers and students.
  • Coordinates the completion of the I9 forms with Central Payroll.
  • Manages information in PeopleSoft and other Client systems.
  • Creation and distribution of scheduled reports.
  • Respond to unemployment claims.
  • May assist in researching and retrieving data for reports and dashboards by using reporting tools.
  • Additional project work, as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cambridge, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
