Human Resources Recruiting and Retention Coordinator
Job description
Wexford is seeking a full-time Human Resources Recruiting and Retention Coordinator to join our team. This position assists with operations and functions of the Human Resources Department. We are seeking a coordinator to support the full cycle recruitment and retention process. The position requires 30 hours/week and is eligible for an excellent benefit package after 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Lead the recruiting efforts by aligning with hiring managers to identify, screen, interview and hire skilled employees.
- Conduct phone screens of candidates for various positions based on analysis of resume searches.
- Place ads for positions using Indeed, and applicable websites.
- Plan and execute recruiting events, internship hiring and job fairs, as needed.
- Use internal ATS to track the hiring process.
- Order and verify completion of drug screens and background checks using ADP.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, etc.).
- Complete Employee Newsletter and/or Employee communication of upcoming events.
- Create or implement strategies to support employee retention.
- Conducts regular follow-ups with hiring managers and new employees during first 90 days of employment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of combined HR recruiting and retention experience
- Onboarding and new employee orientation experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Impeccable organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high activity environment
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Adobe proficiency
Educational Requirements
- Bachelors or Associates degree desired
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of Human Resources related experience
