HR Manager – Full Time
Wausau Tile – Rothschild, WI
General:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be working with our HR team and business leaders. Major areas of responsibility include organizational development, performance management, compliance with all employment law and corporate policies, employee relations and compensation planning and administration.
Responsibilities:
· Provide guidance on employee related issues.
· Work closely with leadership to enforce consistent policy and procedures.
· Direct and facilitate best practices as it relates to employee turnover, and other programs and initiatives.
· Direct and facilitate best practices as it relates to employee turnover, manpower planning, and other programs and initiatives.
· Oversees benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance
· Develop job requirements and descriptions, screen candidates and assist with final employee selection.
· Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
· Assist on organizational issues, getting the right people in the right seats.
· Plan and implement talent development programs and processes.
· Analyze trends in compensation to develop pay structures.
· Advise and assist the appointing authority in establishing programs to ensure appropriate Affirmative Action. Ensure development and implementation of all personnel policies, programs and procedures adhere to the EEO/AA principles, and monitor them accordingly for State compliance.
· Plan and implement performance management process.
· Assist in addressing performance issues.
· Review employment laws and corporate policies and address non-compliance issues.
· Work with HR Team to develop company-wide best practices for recruiting, compensation planning, corporate policies, training, and development programs, etc.
· Ensure legal compliance throughout HR management.
· Strive to have a positive impact in the organization on a consistent basis.
· Work collaboratively with Company team members through transfer of knowledge and building effective business relationships.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
· 3+ years’ experience managing Human Resource functions within an organization.
· Must be able to coach and build the skills of employees and assist in establishing an organization that works effectively and efficiently.
· Must be able to function in a team environment
· Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to understand and continually improve business processes and systems is required.
