Offering rate will vary within the listed range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

SUMMARY
The HR Generalist assists with the activities and operations of the Human Resources Department, including staffing, training, counseling, hiring, and coordinating assigned activities with other tribal departments and outside agencies.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates of Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent to three years of direct Human Resources experience
- Must be willing to obtain Tribal Human Resources Professional (THRP) certification or similar HR certification within one year of hire
- Hands-on experience with various recruitment selection processes (i.e. reference checks, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Must have a solid ability to conduct different types of interviews. (i.e. one-on-one, panel, in-person, & virtual)
- Operational knowledge of Human Resources regulations, laws, and practices
- Must have a valid Kansas Driver's license and be insurable with the Nation's insurance
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must possess professional work ethics, manner, and appearance
- Must have human relations skill with ability to establish & maintain an effective working relationship with various levels of management, co-workers, departments, and representative from outside services/agencies
- Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to operate general office equipment, including but not limited to: 10-key calculator, telephone, computer and operating systems, computer software programs (Microsoft Office programs), & fax/copier machine
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the position
- A record of satisfactory attendance and performance in all prior and current employment
