The HRIS Manager oversees the maintenance of existing employee information systems and processes, as well as the evaluation and implementation of new systems or functionality that will support internal requirements and are fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. This position requires a high-level understanding of HRIS systems and how they support every area of Human Resources – timekeeping, talent acquisition, benefits administration, wage & salary administration, employee relations, and performance management.

Major Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a reliable, efficient, and high performance HRIS Infrastructure including:

  • Core Human Resources
  • Workforce Management
  • Benefits Administration

  • Automated Business Processes
  • Oversees system and data audits for data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Hands on management and support of the development, maintenance and production of complex reports and dashboards as requested by senior leadership.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership, HR staff, and other internal teams to identify needed automation, improvements, and enhancements to existing modules; recommends and implements solutions.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end users.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Five+ years of experience in an HRIS system administrator role or as a super user with at least one year in a supervisory position.
  • Two+ years of complex report writing experience – Cognos Business Intelligence report writing applications required – SQL experience preferred.
  • Recent experience with Ultimate Software Human Resources, Workforce Dimensions (or Kronos Workforce Management), Recruiting and Onboarding required.
  • Strong understanding of process flow in an integrated and automated HR system.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks with imminent deadlines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position might require long hours and weekend work.
