VTT Management, Inc. is looking to hire a housekeeper for our luxury apartment community, Restore at Carolina Park, located in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The property consist of 234 units and have wonderful amenities to offer our residents and their guests. https://restoreapts.com/

Job Title: Housekeeper

Summary: Performs various grounds keeping and janitorial duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the property/community. Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, etc. of multi-family residential apartments.

Duties and Responsibilities (this list is not inclusive)

• Responsible for upkeep of grounds, picking up trash, cleaning amenities, etc.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned grounds tasks in a timely manner.
• Report any concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers, etc.
• Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
• Attend to emergencies when necessary.
• Attend safety meetings and other related meetings.
• Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.
• Uphold all company policies, goals, and values.
• Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
• Immediately report all unsafe conditions.
• Maintains open communication with property management.
• Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, co-workers, and the public, at all times on or off the property.
• Attends and participates in training seminars as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control

2. Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty

3. Good human relation skills demonstrating ability to deal with tenants, peers, and supervisors.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk and listen. The employee will be performing work inside and outside during all types of weather. Medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, balance, stooping, kneeling, crawling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 75 LBS., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs. Good hand/eye coordination is essential. Must be able to lift and work heavy equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be on residential property and be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level can vary from quiet, moderate to loud.
