As a laundry attendant, you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels for the hotel. You will also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay at our hotel.

To be successful as a laundry attendant, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous experience is welcome, but not required. We will train you!
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to arrive to work on time when scheduled
• Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness
• Physically able move and lift strong heavy objects such as linen carts and bags of linen
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Physically able to operate washer and dryer equipment as well as cleaning equipment such as brooms and spray bottles
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Effectively communicate with guests and team members verbally or in written form
• Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards and ability to recognize and act in emergency situations
• Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
