We are hiring Part Time and Full Time Care-aide's to join our team!

• $15/hr
• Flexible scheduling

• Earn specialized certifications in many areas of geriatric care
• Paid training that is mostly work-at-your-own-pace and can be done anywhere, anytime. Some in-person training required.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in their homes with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, mobility, medication reminders, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
• Prepare meals in accordance with dietary needs
• Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping room clean, laundry)
• Serving as a companion to clients
• Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to supervisors and families
• Communicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding care
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
• Assists clients with Alzheimer's and dementia to ensure safety

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance coverage
• Experience working as a personal care-aide, caregiver, or similar field preferred but not required
• Empathy and the ability to care for the client’s social, emotional, physical and mental needs
• High attention to detail
• Must be organized and able to multitask
• Strong communication skills
• Can work independently
