Service Desk Technician I

LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Service Desk Technician I to support our contract at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) in Monterey, CA.

Compensation: $45K

Position Overview:

• The persons in this position provide telephone, walk-in or office support services in addition to the assessment of customer needs, resolution of issues and documentation of steps taken.

Job Duties:

• OS support, Account support (password resets, account unlocks, basic account troubleshooting), basic software support, basic hardware diagnostics, software installation, and document customer requests and steps taken to resolution.
• Taking initial telephone or email inquiries and troubleshooting and managing relatively simple hardware, software, or network problems
• Recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to Tier 2 support

Job Requirements:

• Educational requirements include an AS/AA Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university or the equivalent technical experience.
• Experience requirements include zero to five years of related experience.
• Knowledge of macOS, Windows, and iOS

Required Qualifications:

• Security+ CE certification

Other Requirements:

• US Citizen
• NACLC Clearance, preferably
