Position Summary:
Involves planning, implementing, and evaluating health programs to prevent illness and promote health. Responsible for interventions at the individual, community, organizational, and policy level. Applies professional concepts to help identify areas of need for health promotion and education programs. Gathers and analyzes data to make recommendations regarding effectiveness of programs.

Required Qualifications:
Effective communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Understanding of medical terminology
Ability to work well in a constantly changing environment
Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
Interest in the community served by UC Irvine Health (A Passion for Caring)
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Basic knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflow, terms, orders and epic clinical charting
Detail-oriented and meticulous, able to work with a minimum of oversite and direction
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of quality measures definitions and clinical elements
Bilingual skill in Spanish or Vietnamese or Chinese
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
