Description:

The Grocery Department Manager is responsible for the exceptional execution of Customer Service by the entire Grocery department. They are responsible for managing the department inventory, margin, labor budgets, pricing integrity, and merchandising standards. They will ensure all Grocery Team Members receive proper training and supervision. The Department Manager will ensure the highest level of execution in regards to ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation, merchandising and building of displays.

What you will bring:

Ability to manage multiple detailed and consistently updated essential documents simultaneously, including order guides, logs, SOPs, and further.

Ability to collaborate closely with the Team on any and all issues related to purchasing, project execution, and conditions on the sales floor.

Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break – we work on the floor, and alongside our team.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
