We are currently hiring in the Gretsch drum manufacturing facility in Ridgeland SC for a Utility Worker.

This position is responsible for learning all aspects of Gretsch drum building and moving throughout the manufacturing facility in various departments as production demands. You will learn how to sand, paint, drill, assemble and much more! • Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of common hand tools; and manufacturing processes preferred
• Must be willing to follow tasks and instructions as provided by the Supervision including but not limited to assisting in departments outside of standard work area, willingness to cross train, and complete housekeeping tasks in compliance with Safety procedures
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent work attendance
• Must possess basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for the purposes of calculating material fabrication
• Excellent communication and must be detail orientated
• Able to multi task and self-managing tasks

• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. independently (anything over must use lifting assistance procedure)
• Must able to work in shop and/or warehouse environment, in which temperatures may vary from outside weather and production processes taking place
• Able to wear PPE required for position as instructed by Supervisor, including but not limited to, safety glasses, dust masks, respirators, hearing protection, etc.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks including but not limited to: bending squatting, standing, walking, moving arms/shoulders in spinning or turning motion, stoop, kneel, and crouch
