Job description
Greenhouse Assistant position available within our conservatory! This position is full-time Monday through Friday with a start time at 7:30am. This is a labor-intensive position that requires standing, kneeling, bending and the ability to lift 100 lbs. Greenhouse experience OR knowledge of plants is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Leaf shine and clean tropical plant foliage
- Water potted plants
- Re-pot plants
- Prepare plants for delivery
- Unload shipments of plants and pottery from semi-trucks
- Check shipments for accuracy and damages
- Organize inventory and supplies in the greenhouse
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as taking out the trash and sweeping
- Lift and move heavy objects such as large plants, pottery and pallets of soil
- Assist with off-site deliveries and installations when needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be able to withstand summer heat - greenhouse is not air conditioned
- Physically active and on your feet all day
- 7:30 am start time Monday-Friday
- Safety procedures must be followed
- Hand tools and ladders are utilized
- Ability to lift 100 lbs
