ABOUT ACCEL ENTERTAINMENT

Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals, and amusement devices (pool tables, juke boxes, dart boards, etc.) to bars, restaurants, convenience stores, truck stops, and fraternal and veteran establishments across the country. Our focus is providing unmatched customer support, guidance, and compliance expertise so our partner establishments can grow their businesses and generate more revenue.

SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, creating visual concepts by using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate Accel Entertainment’s customers/partner locations statewide. Develop overall layout and production design for advertisements, print material and social media, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with internal Marketing team to propose, create and implement promotional items, print material and social media graphics
  • Project examples include publications, brochures, logos, flyers, posters, booklets, banners, window decals, wall decals, outdoor signage, slide presentations, Facebook graphics, and web sites
  • Create images and graphics that identify a product or convey a message while keeping consistent with Accel’s branding
  • Work with Sales Team to illustrate signage and marketing tools for sales proposals
  • Serve as lead in all graphics and signage design
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
  • Print production knowledge
  • Serve as quality control to ensure all artwork is compliant with the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines
  • Basic in-house Marketing tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe CS6 - Expert knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Ability to preflight, send artwork to print and work with printers during the proofing process
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. Ability to work remotely and stay on task without presence of management. Ability to manage work
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and use of a keyboard
  • Occasionally required to lift/push weights up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
  • Requires occasional travel and overnight hotel stays
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
