Corin is seeking a Global Strategic Education Manager to define and direct the internal training efforts of Corin Worldwide. This role includes internal training of predominantly the Sales & Marketing team, as well as the non-sales personnel globally. The role relates to onboarding of new Corin personnel as well as the ongoing education of our team. The role will be based in the US or UK in either our Tampa, Raynham or Cirencester office.

This is a great role for someone who has a passion for learning and education within the orthopaedic arena, great at collaborating with salespeople or even worked within sales before. You will need to be strategic, organised, collaborative and highly focused on our mission to grow our orthopaedic solutions via our great technologies.

Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. Corin offers a unique combination of clinically proven hip & knee solutions and world leading technologies, our OMNIBotics & OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.

The key responsibilities of the Global Strategic Education Manager are to;

  • Set internal training objectives and strategies for the global markets to follow
  • Work closely with the markets to ensure internal education and training are taking place as set out in the global marketing plan
  • Develop tactics from the objectives and strategies that allow for the efficient transfer of knowledge from key stakeholders; KOLs, clinical & marketing staff, to new and existing personnel
  • Develop a group of Corin Regional Trainers who can support the ongoing development and execution of successful training in the use of Corin products & technologies
  • Manage the administration, logistics, support and execution of in-person and virtual training courses
  • Ensure training events are ethically and compliantly governed and appropriate approvals are sought
  • Develop and maintain the global training calendar
  • Ensure that all training content and sales presentations are branded in line with the Corin brand guidelines
  • Compile course evaluation summaries & collate, track & monitor training metrics
  • Maintain Corin’s LMS training tool, HubSpot, & administer the back end of the platform for employees with access
  • Continue the ongoing development of the Corin Corporate Presentation
  • Continue to develop and promote key training platforms such as Podcasts & VuMedi to ensure swift and accurate delivery to our Sales & Marketing teams & wider organisation
  • Provide statistical analysis on the utilisation of all training platforms
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA
The ideal Global Strategic Education Manager will have;

  • At least 5 years of experience in adult learning & remote training principals, ideally within the orthopaedic sector
  • It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have sales experience, so they understand the learning requirements of a sales rep
  • Have a general knowledge of the orthopaedic industry, its products & procedures
  • The ability to lead and develop a team
  • The ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels in the organisation and with all varying abilities to learn
  • Competence with Microsoft office specifically with PowerPoint, Smartsheet and SharePoint
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritising for needs
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience working with technology platforms such as LMS and CRMs
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • To be a strong team player but also have the confidence to work without supervision
