JOB TITLE: Production Scheduler

REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager

SHIFT/WORK HOURS: First Shift, 8-10 hours/day (subject to vary and change, may require OT/Weekend hours)
SHIFT PREMIUM: N/A

PURPOSE: The Production Scheduler schedules raw material delivery, as well as maintains overall Schedule Execution and Adherence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain production schedule daily. Review specified SAP reports. Make daily loom status report. Direct shipping/receiving, inspection and doffing associates with various job duties. Communicate with supplier plants as needed. Review yarn orders daily. Coordinate return of non-conforming warps. Receive and issue raw materials as needed. Print production orders and corresponding specifications and set up sheets. Perform filling/warp/WIP cycle counts and physical inventory in the plant. Compile daily status of looms standing for raw material. Be able to pack (finished rolls), doff (rolls of fabric) and allocate filling. Act as a back up to the Planning Manager.

Ability to read and write and follow directions
Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Attention to detail-thoroughness and accuracy are imperative to ensuring all aspects are reviewed
Adaptability-role and responsibility may change often based on plant run schedule/work environment

Copier, printer, file cabinet, files, books, manuals, plotter, shredder, label maker, laminator, scissors, computer, paper products, writing instruments, safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toe shoes, LOTO, Forklift

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong oral/written communication skills
Basic math skills and Microsoft office skills
Must be able to hear power equipment operating in work area
Must be able to see clearly, pass pre-employment drug screening
Should be self-directed to the point of working with no supervision
Take ownership for producing results
Work collaboratively

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Weaving/manufacturing experience
Advanced knowledge of windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Working Knowledge of SAP
Maintain BARCO Plan Board
PIV experience
Use of tablet/scanner

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs for delivery of materials, manuals, or supplies for events

Must be able to bend to reach a filing drawer 14" off the floor & 16" deep, and crawl around rolls, racks and filling cases

Ability to work in high noise production environment and wear approved ear protection. This job operates in a manufacturing facility with moving mechanical parts and material handling equipment. Must be able to move around weaving facility with concrete floors to get to supplies, equipment, and to perform elements of job
