JOB SUMMARY

Club Waterloo in Nassau, The Bahamas is looking for an experienced General Manager who is passionate about the nightlife scene. Newly renovated in 2019, Club Waterloo is a premier entertainment destination boasting a pool, panoramic lake views, multiple bars and seating levels, large-scale indoor dance floor, and daytime and nighttime entertainment featuring in-residence DJs, special guest entertainment and artists.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years management experience in an AGM or GM role.

Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing all staff departments, and ensuring the highest service and guest experience standards are being upheld.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Manage guest relationships
• Evaluate staff performance
• Ensure employees are working together productively as a team
• Uphold service and guest experience standards
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
• Manage inventory and keep company within target goals
• Evaluate and optimize labor costs
• Prepare inventory and labor reports weekly
• Evaluate financial data and improve financial performance
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Provide solutions to complex issues

SKILLS:

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager or like role
• Experience in managing a team of 50+
• Experience working with high-end clientele
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain composure while upholding company policies during stressful situations
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Degree in business, marketing, management or like field preferred but not necessary

JOB TYPE: Full-time. Weekend availability. Ability to relocate to Nassau, The Bahamas.
