Polaris Windows & Doors is seeking a General Maintenance Workerto join our Maintenance Department at our Austintown, OH plant. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven to succeed, dependable, and reliable.
Job Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for essential job duties including, but not limited to:
- Painting;
- Plumbing;
- Light electrical work;
- Machine maintenance; and
- Building maintenance for all three locations, primarily Austintown.
Requirements
- Must be willing to train in all aspects of the Maintenance Department
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently;
- Strong mechanical skills;
- Knowledge of hand tools;
- Basic computer skills; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
