We're currently seeking an experienced Accountant with exceptional attention to detail and best practice accounting skills to join our team located in Houston.

You'll have the opportunity to make this role yours, collaborate on an international stage and work with likeminded individuals across our group located in Australia and Norway!

Your role is a business critical one and involves working cohesively and closely with the President of our U.S entity and our CFO in Norway.

Your day-to-day tasks include:

• Financial & cash flow reporting
• Monthly & year-end financial reporting
• Preparation of all Statutory filings
• Assists with the coordination of both internal and external audits.
• Bank processing and reconciliations
• P&L and Balance Sheet
• Assisting with Invoicing (which will include intercompany)
• Prepare and post journal entries. Analyse general ledger accounts and records entries.
• Prepares analysis and cash flow projections.
• Monitor project costs and expenses, and provide regular updates to management
• Provide necessary support in relation to state registrations and tax filings
• Accounts payable & receivable
• Expenses and reimbursements
• Exposure to workers compensation and insurances management would be highly advantageous.
• General finance administration including comms with employees and wider group.

We need someone who demonstrates a previous background in accounting, bookkeeping and / or finance. Someone who is confident meeting reporting deadlines including internally and externally, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining compliance.

• Accounting Degree (or experienced qualified)
• Be a team player!
• Proactive, professional and communicate extremely well.
• 2+ years’ accounting / bookkeeping experience in a similar role
• Financial reporting experience within international companies (advantageous)
• Have a deep understanding of accounting systems and best practice, experience using X-Ledger (advantageous)
• Accounts Payable, Receivables, Bank Reconciliation experience
• Be an MS Excel pro!
• Strong attention to detail partnered with excellent analytical skills
• Be a great problem solver
• Have excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
