Full-Time Front Desk/Customer Service Representative

Utah's award-winning Outlet Shopping Center is seeking a positive, energetic, and service oriented individual who delights in providing exceptional Customer Service and a great shopping experience for all visiting guests! Customer Service Representatives work with the Traverse Mountain team to maintain a high level of communication between customers, stores, and with all Center Management and personnel. Your daily objective will be providing information and amenity services to Guests while delivering attentive, genuinely friendly, and efficient customer service that creates happy, loyal customers.
WAGE: $14.00-$14.50/hr.
SCHEDULE: 35-40 hrs. Tuesday-Friday 9:30AM-5:30PM and Saturday 11:45AM-8:15PM. Must be able to work Sundays and select holidays as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in main reception area and answer all incoming phone calls.
- Educate customers about Outlet shopping deals and enroll them in the Elite Rewards Loyalty program.
- Ensures Customer Service area is opened or closed in a timely manner. Ensures that the Customer Service work area is clean and organized.
- Assist all customers and stores by phone or in person with general information, store locations, directions, business hours, transportation info & special event info.
- Maintain stroller/wheelchair rentals
- Maintain the log and inventory of all lost and found items in conjunction with security department.
- Process gift card transactions
- Utilize POS to sell, log, and track transactions and promotions
- Assist Marketing Department with events and promotions
- Make calls to stores to identify advertised sales, in store events, and special offers for posting on the LED billboard, website, social media, and on-site flyers
- Communicating incentives and upcoming events that are being offered to shoppers
- Assist with reporting the weekly tracking pertaining to the marketing programs
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.) preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
- Entry level experience using MS Office applications (for data entry, emails, and reports).
- Ability to conduct research using the various search engines on the Internet.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to effectively respond to issues both verbally and in writing.
- Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.
- Friendly personality, smiles, and enjoyment of conversations
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to handle cash and give back proper change.
- Basic bookkeeping skills.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to identify problems with limited information, and then recommend a resolution.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

PHYSICAL and/or MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time; walk and stand; use hands and fingers to operate keyboards, printers, fax machines or other office equipment; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone and/or radio; vision to read printed material and a computer screen; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment.

Must be able to work emergency overtime. Must be available to work weekends (at least one weekend day) and applicable holidays, as needed to cover for special events, vacations, and time off.
