Job description: Winnetka family is seeking a loving, warm nanny for their 18-month-old. Position will be 40 hours and ideally a long-term relationship!
Compensation: $960 - $1040/week. + PTO, vacation, sick days.
Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours per week. M-F 9am – 5pm. Some flexibility needed to come early or stay late.
Job Details and Responsibilities:
One toddler. 18 months old. No school right now but family would like to enroll him in part-time preschool next year. Nanny should also have experience with infants as family would like to grow their family in the future. Nanny should be open to stay overnight with the child when parents are traveling. Advanced notice will be given.

• Responsibilities include all care of the toddler: feeding, changing, naps, educational and fun activities, etc.
• Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding milestones such as sleep schedules, potty training, etc.
• Nanny will actively engage in a fun yet developmental activities for the child inside and out of doors. Plan a variety of activities with a well-balanced schedule.
• Nanny will handle child meal prep.
• Light housekeeping related to the child: laundry and bedding, taking out diaper pail, maintain common areas such as playrooms and child's rooms by keeping them tidy, unloading dishwasher, wiping down surfaces, notifying family when supplies are low, etc.

Qualifications

• Nanny should have significant experience and interested in growing with a family long-term.
• One parent works from home full-time. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement as she enjoys being involved when possible.
• Family is new to the area from out of state. The ideal nanny is familiar with the North Shore
• Reliable & dependable
• Warm & loving
• Active & energetic
• Nanny should have a safe driving record. Family can supply a car for use on the job.
• COVID vaccine and flu shot are required.
