We are Hilton! We are Hospitality! Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany, a Hilton Managed Hotel, has openings for Room Attendants working in the Housekeeping department. MUST APPLY ONLINE FOR JOB OPENINGS: www.jobs.hilton.com. REQ #: HOT098R2.

Key duties include:

• Clean rooms/suites, as assigned, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows/tracks.
• Report rooms as clean and available.
• Report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
• Strip dirty linens/towels and remove used amenities from room/suite.
• Check cart for supplies, stock as needed.
• Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
• Replenish linen and guest amenities.
• Respond to special requests by guests (for example, extra towels, amenities)

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Physically able to move large objects such as carts, large bags of linen, ironing board.
• Physically able to operate cleaning equipment such as: vacuum cleaners, brooms, spray bottles.
• Ability to learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness as they apply to all aspects of the suite.
• Ability to push/pull constantly up to 100+ lbs, lifting/carrying frequently up to 50+lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand constantly.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to assist Guests and work with team members
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.80 - $17.90 per hour
