We are searching for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist, who has high energy & exceptional customer service skills. Must be motivated and professional with strong attention to detail. Must be mature, fun, reliable, friendly and interact well with people. Looking for someone with medical or vision insurance verification experience.

What would you do? – The Specifics

• Ensure high quality customer service.
• Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
• Process and understand managed care plans.
• Obtain and document information from the insurance company.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, and follow-up visits.
• File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day’s appointments.
• Order and bill for contact lenses.
• Reconcile receipts at the end of the day.

Qualifications

Are you the right fit?

• Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role is preferred.
• Experience in authorizing medical insurance.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Revolution EHR experience would be helpful but not needed.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
• Excellent organizational skills.
