Front Desk Dental Administrative Assistant

Our team is seeking an experienced, patient focused Front desk staff member to join our team!

Key Tasks
The requirements listed below are representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Submitting claims to insurance companies for our patients
- Ensure reception and lobby area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Monitor passed due recall
- Use of Microsoft Outlook for e-mails correspondence is required, along with sending secure patient records, x-rays, reports and records releases
- Review treatment plans with parents/guardians and schedule according to scheduling guidelines
- Make financial arrangements and effectively communicate payment expectations
- Send/organize specialist referrals
- Assist with end of day reports
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Collect and post patient payments, including credit card transactions, cash and checks
Prior dental experience is a bonus. Hourly compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. Please apply with your resume and references.
Monday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Tuesday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Thursday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm (every other week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Required)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical office experience: 1 year (Preferred)
