Job description
Primary Purpose: Handle the day-to-day operation of Front Office through communication, customer interaction, programming knowledge, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service through customer communication, appearance, name tag, and proper approved uniform.
- Be on time and prepared to work at the start of the scheduled shift.
- Maintain clean workspaces.
- Working knowledge of POS system for all sales types, cash and credit.
- Efficiently process payments made at the Front Desk.
- Working knowledge of rink management software relating to customer accounts and daily rink schedule.
- Understanding of opening and closing drawer procedures.
- Take attendance for drop-in programming as required to ensure all customers have paid.
- Direct customers to their desired programs and events.
- Answer phones at the front desk and direct calls to appropriate departments.
- Ability to work weekends is a must
- Superior customer service skills
- Must be an enthusiastic team player
- Strong attention to detail and be well organized
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must enjoy working in an active, team environment
- Must be able to multitask during high activity times
- Prior cashier and customer service experience a plus
- Vaccinated for COVID-19
