Your responsibilities

1st Shift- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Mon-Fri

We are seeking a Material Handler to be responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. This person may also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck.
  • Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
  • Identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
  • Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required.
  • Remove and put away stock from various operations.
  • Perform general clean up.
  • Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift, report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.

Your profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic math and reading skills obtained by a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping motions.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to lift between 25-70lbs.
  • Previous forklift certification and 3 years experience; preferred.
  • Meets tkSCS Employee Attributes/Competencies.
