Salary $18-$22/ hour DOE
SUMMARY:
- Assist ensures the timely and accurate supervision of food and beverage operations, including supervision of food and beverage staff and the receipt, distribution, exchange, transfer, inventory and balancing of money/assets.
- Assist with supervising food and beverage operations in compliance with the State of Colorado Regulation, ICMPs and other applicable municipal, state, and federal laws or regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises and develops and effective staff by training, scheduling, rewarding and disciplining staff
- Assist with ensuring that the staff accurately counts and verifies customer winnings and requests to exchange or receive cash.
- Supervises F&B operation in compliance with departmental policy and procedures, the State of Colorado Regulations, ICMP and other applicable municipal, state, and federal laws or regulations.
- Assist with completing and maintaining a record of daily or scheduled reports on F&B operations of all non-compliance issues.
- Maintains food and beverage procedures.
- Ensures that food and beverage have the proper amount of supplies for each day.
- Must have current Serve Safe certification
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed, and directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the activities of the food and beverage Team Members
- Mentor and develop the food and beverage department, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
- Assist with planning growth opportunities for team members who display the necessary skills, motivation, and attitude to progress within the company
- Provides for the fair and equitable treatment of all team members.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Perform reviews on team members, paperwork, authorize vacations, etc.
- Address any scheduling conflicts, payroll discrepancies, etc.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent; three-to-six month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years casino operations
- Minimum of 3 years casino gaming management/ F&B management.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Able to read, comprehend, and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, memos, and documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and procedures and maintenance instructions.
- Able to write routine simple correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and team members.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in small units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Able to apply common sense, patience and understanding while carrying out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
- Able to deal with and present problem-solving ideas that involves concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Colorado Gaming Support License is required.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Strong guest service skills and the ability to ask questions and apply deductive reasoning and listening skills are essential.

- Must also be able to psychologically handle the concept of persons occupying an establishment for the purpose of gambling, drinking, eating and smoking for long periods of time.
