Philadelphia Marriott West is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager with a strong background in customer service and successful driven results at our hotel located in West Conshohocken, PA.
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the food service and beverage operation by utilizing the food service team. This manager is responsible for the efficient execution of all fresh food/ food service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines and supporting the Director of Food and Beverage in all facets of running the restaurant and bar.
The Ideal Candidate for This Position
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
- Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.
- Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Supervising and managing team members. Understanding team members’ positions well enough to perform duties in their absence.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the F&B Director.
