We are currently recruiting for a Gluer Operator to join our team. As a Gluer operator you will be required to set up, monitor the machine run, and make adjustments as needed while controlling quality and waste, meeting safety requirements, and maintaining housekeeping standards in the folding carton industry.

As a Gluer Operator you will be required to set up, monitor the machine run, and make adjustments as needed while controlling quality and waste, meeting safety requirements, and maintaining housekeeping standards common in the folding carton industry.

Responsibilities

About Your Responsibilities:

• Setting up, monitoring the machine run, and making any adjustments as needed
• Controlling quality and waste and maintaining housekeeping standards
• Ensure that the operating machinery is achieving required performance levels
• Record accurate data in the Batch Record, on the Visual Boards, and electronically in computer system.
• Support CI initiatives and 5S programs to drive change and process development across the shop floor
• Clean up and discard all left over cartons from previous jobs
• Assist with training
• General ad-hoc duties direct by management

Skills, qualifications and/or experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
• Experience working as an operator of a BOBST Domino and Media, 6X, Vega, International Royal is preferred
• Hot and cold glue experience preferred
• Excellent communicator both orally and written, able to read, write, and speak English
• A “team player” with the ability to work productively and easily with others
• Ability to work well and calmly under pressure
• Dependable, flexible, and approachable
• Experience in a folded carton facility preferred
• Able to work overtime

Working Environment:

Your work will be done in a clean manufacturing facility which produces high quality products for Pharmaceutical Companies. You may be required to lift up to 50lbs., bend, stoop, reach and walk short distances to complete job task. Use of proper personal safety equipment is required when in the manufacturing or warehouse areas, including but not limited to hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Pineville, NC 28134: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
