Job description
Our child care program is looking for a full-time Early Childhood Education Assistant or Float Teacher who loves guiding young children in their learning. We are interested in someone who has experience working with children between 6 weeks and 5 years old, is loving, very flexible and patient, dependable, is organized with strong time management skills, and is a quick learner. Multi-lingual or being a Nature Enthusiast is a plus. The right applicants must be available Monday through Friday. Having a MERIT account is a plus. Must be able to pass DEL background check and TB test. All genders are encouraged to apply.
SIGN-ON BONUS: Employees will be provided a sign-on bonus of $1,500.00 with continuous employment in intervals of $250.00 at 3 months, $500.00 at 6 months, and $750.00 at 9 months.
Pay Rate will depend directly on teaching experience and education.

-Full-Time Floater Teacher: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:30 pm

-Pervious Lead Teaching Experience
-Have MERIT account
-An understanding of child development and ability to track milestones
-Able to use positive guidance and redirection techniques with children
-Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
-ECE degree or CDA
-Multilingual
-Experience using Parent Communication App
REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have some experience working with children between 6 weeks to 5 years old, is loving, very flexible and patient, and dependable.

-Must be 18 years or older
-High school diploma or GED
-Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Knowledgeable in child development, Ability to work as a team player, Follow direction and work independently, Ability to stay on schedule, Customer service and problem-solving skills.
-Physical: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting a minimum of 40 lbs.
-Mental: Ability to solve problems on a daily basis and multi-task numerous activities, while able to act swiftly and maintain composure in stressful situations
