Position Summary
The Division of Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in the Department of Health Sciences invites applications for this fixed-term track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
The primary responsiblities for this faculty appointment include teaching didactic and seminar courses within the Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling master’s program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We are a two-year, in-person program especially interested in candidates with graduate degrees in Counselor Education, Counselor Education & Supervision, Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Counselor Education, or a closely related field. Our needs for teaching expertise are in the following areas: Foundations of Counseling, Practicum and Internship Supervision, Tests & Measurements, Job Placement/Vocational Rehabilitation Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disabilities.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Experience teaching at the Undergraduate or Graduate level
Successful experience supervising, mentoring, and teaching master’s students in a counseling or rehabilitation counseling program.
Experience providing counseling services to people with disabilities, preferably in a medical setting.

Record of publication and funded research.

Experience with individuals across the spectrum of disabilities.
