  • Work Schedule: (Hybrid Schedule) - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm - 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Job Description Summary: The Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator will assist with the management of the SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS) functionality for the Division. The role will involve working with Division Company finance and operations personnel to assist in procuring capital assets, assist with the control of the internal order process for tracking capital investments, manage capital projects within SAP (from creation to closure stage), review vendor statement billings to ensure charges are appropriately expensed/capitalized,) create internal order numbers and assist in determining when projects can be capitalized. The Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator will also assist with providing monthly and quarterly reporting of capital project spend comparing actual-to-budget as well as other information. This role will work closely with other members of the Division Accounting department, Division FP&A, and the Central Accounting Group (“CAG”).

Required Qualifications

  • To be successful, the Fixed Asset Purchasing Administrator should have an understanding of general accounting matters and GAAP.

  • 2 +years experience required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize Google applications

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Exhibits customer focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer’s needs, both internal and external.

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.

  • Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions based on investigation and judgment as well as ability to discern when to escalate issues.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and juggle between divisional, local and Corporate management and demands.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with others in both favorable and unfavorable situations regardless of status of position. Accepts cultural diversity and establishes effective working relationships.
