L. Pugh & Associates (a Fire Safety & Protection LLC company) is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a Fire Service/Inspection Sales Representative to join our team located in Pensacola, FL.
Our Vision: To set the bar in providing state of the art fire protection systems while maintaining our superior reputation recognizing our work and commitment never truly ends. We are looking to add a salesperson to our growing inspections testing and maintenance team.
The Fire Service/Inspection Sales Representative is responsible for generating, cultivating and qualifying sales leads. In addition, the position is expected to generate and present proposals, negotiate pricing, and close sales to attain goals. You'll also be expected to maintain client relationships. This is a full- time position that requires independence, initiative and a strong desire to succeed in growing not only the business but also yourself!
Responsibilities:
- Work with a base of existing customers to renew their existing fire/sprinkler inspection/service agreements and expand those agreements to include other life safety offerings.
- Actively grow business by seeking new relationships and inspection/service opportunities, providing timely and effective sales presentations to prospective customers.
- Educate the market and customers on fire/sprinkler inspection/service capabilities and identify opportunities to address customer needs with solutions and inspection/services.
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Post-sale responsibilities include generating applicable documentation and coordinating with internal staff for scheduling and hand off.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, although candidates with varying degrees will also be considered based on experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in fire sprinkler and alarm inspection sales, with proven business development preferred.
- Knowledge of local building market such as building owners and facility managers, life safety managers strongly desired.
- Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with CRM and ERP systems.

Salary Range:
Base salary plus commission, based on experience, to be discussed during interview.
