Trulite is GROWING!We are looking for a Financial Analyst to be based at ourSalt Lake City, UT location. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, this individual will be responsible for analyzing and summarizing financial and operational data across a region. Services provided to the plant and corporate teams include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, strategic financial planning, analytics, and reporting, as well as working alongside each assigned plant to help them achieve their financial goals. The incumbent in this role must have advanced Excel capabilities and should be comfortable leveraging Business Intelligence and Analysis systems and tools in a manufacturing environment.

This role blends deep technical analytics and development skills, finance controlling and planning, business stakeholder communications, and near/long-term strategic decision-making. The role will provide the individual exposure to multiple aspects of the business (e.g. finance, accounting, operations, P&L management, and data analytics / management).

Who You Are:

• Develops financial models and analyses to support ongoing business initiatives
• Analyzes complex financial data and summarize results and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
• Supports Senior Management and Departments with daily, weekly, and monthly reports and in-depth analysis, including historical and predictive trends, impacts of improvement initiatives
• Drives standardization and process improvement across all planning aspects including best practices
• Implements and works with Business Intelligence tools and dashboard reporting
• Analyzes inventory performance; turns and obsolescence. Conducts cycle counts and audits compliance, participates in annual physical count with external auditors
• Supports monthly forecasts and annual budget process, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends, and operational effectiveness
• Liaison between branch leadership and corporate shared service functions; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Treasury
• Support month-end closing activities; sales commissions, PPV and Freight analysis, Capital Appropriation Requests, Adjusting Entries, etc.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required
• Manufacturing experience preferred; understands the flow of materials, labor, and overhead, as well as variance to standards or expected process outcomes
• Minimum of two years in an analytical role required
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, required
• Experience using Business Intelligence and Analytic systems and tools strongly preferred (Vena, Tableau, SQL)
• Demonstrated ability to be organized, able to prioritize, and operate with a sense of urgency
• Proven ability to manage business partnerships and perform in a complex cross-functional environment; Establishes and maintains a two-way dialog with others on work and results.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Innovative, resourceful, and able to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
