Savi Solutions is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Program/Project Management team in DC metro area. This position requires an individual to have 3+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Qualified candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good oral and written skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Your future duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Perform Invoice reviews and fund validation
- Work closely with PMO office in monthly forecasting and analyze variances to previous forecast and budget
- Evaluate direct and indirect rates and provide requisite guidance
- Participate in month-end financial accounting and reporting process for client accounts
- Conduct research and report on special finance inquiries
- Create detailed financial reporting, perform trend analysis and provide requisite metrics to key stakeholders
- Perform Estimate at Completion (EAC), Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Burn rates Review and provide support to Program Management team
- Support project reviews by providing accurate financial data and value added financial analyses
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing of financial systems for Quality Assurance
Experience and Skills:
- Candidate must have good experience with MS Office (particularly with Excel – i.e. Pivot, Grouping, Calculations)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a team; must be self-motivated and able to stay on task while paying attention to detail
- FAA/DOT or any Federal sector experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Eligible for Public Trust Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
