PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of corporate and subsidiary forecasts and budgets
- Participating in the ongoing strategic planning process, including the preparation of financial forecasts, analyses and presentations for executive management, the Board of Directors and external stakeholders
- Analyze financial performance and key business drivers
- Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and assessing key investment decisions and project economics
- Cross training and assisting with the day to day responsibilities of various functional teams within Finance
- Developing an in depth understanding of PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle EPM (Strategic Modeling), SmartView and other software programs to support the forecasting process
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Excellent analytical skills, with an interest in finance and accounting concepts
- The ability to work efficiently with strong problem solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated reliability, self-motivation and willingness to learn
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous forecasting/budgeting experience
- Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials
