Your Next Career Opportunity – Finance & Capital Markets Analyst II
Under the direction of the Finance and Capital Markets director, the Finance and Capital Markets Analyst II has the responsibility of researching, creating and maintaining various financial and operational tasks to assist executive management. Actively involved with all areas of the organization including: Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Accounting, M&A, Legal, Operations and IT.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and development of the organization’s long-term financial objectives and strategic plans, including capital structure and capital allocation.
- Support the Company’s long-term corporate model.
- Build and maintain various financial models including discounted cash flow models, comparative company analysis models, sum-of-the-parts models, and merger & acquisition models.
- Support capital markets transactions including aiding in the preparation of offering materials including investor presentations, offering memorandums, and other related deliverables. Assist in the coordination of information between related parties such as underwriters, and legal and rating agencies.
- Support the investor relations department including updating marketing materials, quarterly reports, and earnings items such as press releases and supplemental financial packages.
- Provide quantitative support and acquisition due diligence for both domestic and international transactions.
- Research markets, customers, and competitors’ financial and operating information.
- Assist management on emerging topics, technology, and potential areas of growth.
- Assist in the Company’s financial planning, budgeting, and analysis activities.
- Prepare and update Company presentations for internal and external distribution.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field of study preferred;
- and 3-5 years of financial analysis and modeling experience, along with presentation creation experience. Experience with an investment bank, public accounting, private equity or consulting preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
