General Description

JCPenney Logistics currently seeks a Facility Maintenance Associate for our 2 million square foot warehouse. 1st Shift Sunday- Thursday 5:00AM - 1:30PM.

In this role, you may be required to drive Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, change Powered Industrial Truck batteries, and perform various entry level maintenance functions. Additionally, this role has responsibility for sweeping, collecting, and disposing of obsolete equipment, setting up /dismantling furniture and equipment; performing maintenance related to grounds and building care, painting, assembling components, general inspection of fire extinguishers and ladders and any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This is a great entry level role into our maintenance department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and/or written instructions. Requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs. dexterity to use tools related to job. Requires walking, standing, climbing, reaching overhead, and bending. Must be able to pass a full panel drug screen, background check, and eye test.
