Target Salary: $65,000- $90,000+ depending on experience
Our Facility Analyst will serve as the technical resource to our project developers, engineers, estimators, and operations teams. Through facility assessments, surveys and audits, the role will determine the existing condition, performance and deficiencies of building systems and assets to identify opportunities for adding and/or expanding EV Charging infrastructure and stations.
Facility Analyst- EV Charging Responsibilities:
- Conducts surveys of customer facilities and assesses the current condition, operational performance and deficiencies of the building systems and infrastructure. Subject building systems include existing EV charging systems and related and supporting electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct field surveys/audits of electrical infrastructure and systems, and any existing EV charging systems, by walking property/building site, with the objective of providing accurate and detailed information on the existing systems.
- Conduct detailed surveys/audits using digital auditing software.
- Open and inspect electrical panels as needed.
- Use auditing tools to assist in obtaining precise information, including measuring tools.
- Review and submit survey/audit reports within one week of survey/audit date.
- Communicate potential and existing issues, questions, concerns, and overall assessments of EV charging sites and buildings.
- Consider and apply ADA code for EV Charging when required.
- Perform on-site information gathering, testing and technical measurements such as parking lot measurements, and data logging electrical systems.
- Gather and review existing building plans for customer facilities to gain an understanding of the history and current condition of their facilities.
- Develop various marked-up site plans, sketches, and other documents that illustrate existing conditions, such as parking, potential EV charging locations, and existing electrical infrastructure and systems.
- Collaborate with and assist project developers, designers, and engineers in identifying and developing facility improvement measures and solutions.
- Work towards continuous individual and team process and quality improvement.
Facility Analyst-EV Charging Qualifications:
- Associate/Technical Degree in related field
- Electrician's license preferred
- Must be willing to travel up to 80 to 90%.
- Building survey/audit experience required.
- EV charging survey/audit experience required.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure and systems in buildings.
- Strong understanding of EV charging technologies.
- Knowledge of ADA code applicable to EV Charging is preferred.
- Curiosity and relentless drive to gather and discover the information, data and requirements needed to develop project designs and proposals.
- Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries.
- Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision under time sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Field work requires full days of travel and actively moving about building/property sites.
- Able to move or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to withstand varying temperatures typical in an outdoor environment
- Position spends significant amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing and may require climbing of ladders, and/or working from heights.
- This position must maintain an active driver’s license with clean record and have reliable transportation to report to job sites and other office locations. This position also requires extensive travel for extended periods of time.
